Last week, my lovely sister in law’s through a beautiful Bridal shower for my husband’s little sister, Danielle. Yes, she will always be called the “little sister” because she is the baby in the family. Also , yes, she will always be in my eyes the little girl I met 16 years ago in November. We took her out for her birthday to play put put . I’m assuming Kevin needed approval from his 8 year old sister and since we are still together and going strong, she must have approved. 😉

At the shower, every attention to detailed shined . Each centerpiece was arranged with beautiful hand painted teal wine bottles and then topped with dark and light pink carnations. The games kept everyone laughing and talking. Perfect way to get to know all the relatives you just met by the way. The cake consisted of yummy donuts layered and stacked then adorned with pink roses, an arrangement made for a queen. I was so happy to be able to document all of it.

One of my favorite things of photographing a small events is not only the delicious food, but capturing the sweet moments that happen. In this event, many of the family members got to meet for the 1st time. How sweet is it that I get to watch love spread all around a room? I am so blessed to be able to love what I do . Because,” If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.”

If your still reading this, scroll down to see my most laughable time at this shower. Poor kid. LOL
