When Amanda’s Mom asked me if I traveled for wedding events, I didn’t expect it to be in York, PA.
Heritage Hills resort isn’t a historic building from 235 years ago. Instead, the resort gives off a unique charm of painted scenery in the staircase and tall ceilings when you first walk in that blends the new with the old in a perfect symphony.
One of the best parts of the location was that Alex’s family lives right on the golf course property, and directly next to their home is a gorgeous farmhouse they booked from some of their guests. It made the perfect spot for groom-getting-ready photos and had ample light for the perfect detail shots.
Amanda’s dress was stunning as well as her details. Pearls and crystals accented her lace gown, and the scent of Coco Chanel was the finishing touch!
I especially loved the unique details of the day! Amanda’s engagement ring was gorgeous. The center stone was an emerald instead of a diamond. Alex’s wedding ring detailed with a purple strip alongside the tungsten design. The pair of rings symbolized their birth months. Amanda’s birthstone is an amethyst, and Alex’s an emerald.
Every point of the day was filled with love from the morning to the end where a firework exit illuminated the sky as a wish for a long beautiful marriage!
